Crafting Beauty with Flowers
Hello, I’m Georgia Ivana, the founder of Fiora Brae Flowers, a name that pays homage to my Italian and Scottish roots- Fiora meaning “flower” in Italian, and Brae evoking the rolling hills of Scotland.
Born and raised in Australia, I grew up surrounded by the rugged beauty of native blooms, which continue to inspire my designs today.
At 25, I moved to the UK, where my path led me into the field of human rights- a passion that remains close to my heart. I hold a Master’s in Human Rights and have worked alongside various support groups, always driven by the belief that our greatest purpose lies in making life a little easier, a little more beautiful, for one another.
Now based in Gloucestershire, I’m reconnecting with another great love of mine- floristry. As a qualified florist, I find joy in blending native Australian flora with classic garden varieties, creating arrangements that celebrate the unexpected harmony between contrasts.
For me, flowers are more than decoration; they are gestures of gratitude, love, remembrance, and renewal. Through Fiora Brae Flowers, I hope to share the beauty of giving, the art of connection, and the quiet magic of nature’s blooms.
As George Eliot once said, “What do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other?” - that simple truth continues to guide both my work and my life.
